Hypershell Host Program

Owners who join the program host try-ons. You find a Host through Hypershell’s Try-On Nearby page and send a request; Hypershell reviews it and, if it approves, connects you with a Host. You agree to Hypershell’s safety guidelines first, and the experience is free[4]. The directory lists Hosts in the US, the UK and Canada (the Greater Toronto Area and Comox, BC; a Calgary Host has paused in-person visits), and none in Australia, where you can sign up to be told when a try-on becomes available[1]. If you mention a health or mobility concern in your request, the page says physical try-on is paused for a safety review and a clinician’s clearance may be needed[1].

Stores listed by Hypershell

The Try-On Nearby directory lists retail stores, including Appalachian Trail Outfitters in Luray, Virginia, Boost Experience Center in Shelby, North Carolina, and Rundle Bike in Canmore and Calgary, Alberta[1]. An August 18, 2026 press release also named ExoHike in Colorado[3], and the Help Center now says Hypershell has physical stores or display locations[2]. We haven’t contacted these stores. Call ahead to confirm they have a demo unit.

If you can’t try one first

Then the return policy is your fallback, and it is narrower than the “14-day” badges suggest. Read return policies by country and check your measurements against the size chart before you order.
